Yeni Marlem Alvarado
April 30, 1978- May 10th, 2023

Yeni Marlem passed away on May 10, 2023 at the age of 45. She was born on April 30, 1978 in Mexico City, Mexico to parents Jose Loredo & Silvia Navarro. She is preceded in death by her father Jose Loredo. She is survived and dearly missed by her husband Joe Alvarado, daughters Alexandra, Samantha, Monique, Brandy and son Joe Henry, mother Silvia Navarro, sister Iris Guzman and brother Michael Loredo. She was an Amazing Daughter, Sister, Mother, Wife, Aunt, Sister In-Law, Mother in-law, Cousin, Friend, Nurse, & one of the most selfless individuals you were blessed to have known. She loved being creative and enjoyed painting, crafts, watching SpongeBob and being surrounded by her family. She was one of the biggest sports fans. She loved watching boxing, football and enjoyed playing volleyball & basketball. She had an exceptional love of Hammers.

A deeply devoted Wife, Yeni's  greatest joy was her loving husband Joe. Married 18 years, Joe and Yeni shared a strong love for their 5 children Alexandra, Samantha, Joe Henry, Monique, & Brandy. She loved her 6 grandchildren Aliyah Acosta, Angel Acosta, Adrian Acosta, Savannah Hurtado, Brooklyn Alvarado, & Holly Conde. Yeni and Joe have such fond memories of watching gangster movies and comedy movies together. She enjoyed her days of relaxing at home watching cartoons and eating sours with her family.

Yeni had a strong faith and was a devoted member of Mercy Church of San Antonio. She served as a Children's Ministry Preschool Teacher and participatedin many other activities at the church over the years. She graduated from Southwest School of Business and Technical Careers with her Medical Assistant Certification and later received her license as a Vocational Nurse. She was an amazing Nurse and was so kind to her patients. She went above and beyond for them and her coworkers.

You didn't have to be related to Yeni for her to love you and care for you. She was a loving, kind and beautiful woman with an huge heart. She was an independent and strong woman, "La Reina del Sur" as her Husband Joe calls her."  She was resourceful with what she had and always made the best out of all situations. She is and will always be remembered and loved by us all.
