Samuel Mermella Sr. passed away at the age of 77, on December 10, 2016. He was born on April 22, 1939 in Floresville, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents Juan and Adela Mermella. He is survived by his children who reside in Odessa, Texas; daughters Rosemary Mermella Barrera, Rachel Mermella Borunda and Maria Mermella Salcido; sons Samuel Mermella Jr., Johnny Mermella, Trinidad Mermella and Jaime Mermella; sister Maria Mermella; brothers Trinidad Mermella, Isa Mermella and Jesse Mermella; 18 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. Samuel Mermella was loved by many and will be dearly missed. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at 10:00AM at Centro Cristiano International located at 4151 Culebra Rd. San Antonio, Texas 78228.
