Rosendo "Chendo" Soto age 77 of Floresville Texas passed away February 2, 2018. Born December 13, 1940 in Floresville Texas.  Mr. Soto's biggest love was his large family, he enjoyed his career as a truck driver, he loved being on the roads. Preceded in death by parents Salvador and Josefa Soto. Siblings Manuela Soto Martinez, Henry Soto Sr., Salvador Soto Jr., Johnny Soto Sr., Pauline Gimenez, Jesse Soto Sr. and Granddaughter Allison Talamantez.

He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years Elida Garza Soto, children Sylvia Garcia and husband Rudy, Abel Soto and wife Betty, Janie Soto, Gilbert Soto, Rudy Flores, Elisa Flores, Ruby Flores, Laura Soto and Rick Soto. 28 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Brother Bicente and Susie Soto, Sister Dora and Alfred Urias, Sister Lupe and Joe Aguilar, Sister Anita and Leandro Vigil. Numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and many dear friends.

Visitation to be held Monday February 12, at 3:00PM until 8:30PM with a rosary to be recited at 7:00PM at San Antonio Mortuary chapel. Funeral mass to be held on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at 10:00AM. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Floresville TX. Mr. Soto will lay in state at 8:00AM. before the mass everyone to meet at the church on Tuesday. Entombment to follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Floresville funeral services under the direction of San Antonio Mortuary.
