Roger G. Garza, age 75, of Pleasanton Texas passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 29, 2020.

Roger was born on December 4, 1944 to Cresinto Garza and Hortencia H. Garza who resided in Pleasanton, Texas. Roger grew up with two brothers and two sisters; Alex Garza and Jesse Garza whom are both deceased and leaves behind Minnie Cavazos and Beatrice Zickafoose.

Roger was passionate about photography and started his own photography business in 1972. Roger was a well-established photographer for many of the local weddings, quinceanera's, and other events in Pleasanton. In 1975, Roger expanded and opened his own local business known as the Pleasanton Floral, Photography & Tuxedo.

Roger was also an active member of the Pleasanton City Council for twenty-five years, where he proudly served his community.

Roger is preceded in death by his beloved wife Ann Garza and son Kevin Edward Garza. Together Roger and Ann raised five loving children.

Roger is survived by his daughters Paula Roxanne Garza, Leticia Navarro and husband Ray, Annjeannette Oliva and husband George, and Kimberly Garza.

Roger also leaves behind nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Grandchildren: Justin, Brianna, Egypt, Haley, Kayley, Nathen, Ryan, Matthew, Devynne

Great Grandchildren: Arianna, Avion, Kevin

A funeral service to honor the life of Roger will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2020. St. Andrew's Catholic church at 10:00 a.m. 626 Market St. Pleasanton Texas 78604.

The burial will follow the mass at San Jose Cemetery in Jourdanton, Texas.
