Roger Alvarado

August 21, 1959 – March 14, 2024

Roger Alvarado was born on August 21, 1959, in San Antonio, Texas.  He died peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on March 14, 2024.  He was 64 years old.

Roger was preceded in death by his father, Rumaldo H. Alvarado.  He is survived by his mother, Guadalupe Q. Alvarado, and his siblings Rumaldo Alvarado, Jr., Rodolfo Alvarado, Samuel Alvarado (Debra), Linda Alvarado Chavez (Gilbert), and Norma Alvarado.  He leaves behind numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.

He loved discussing politics and kept abreast of local and world news.  He learned to play guitar at a very young age and enjoyed sharing his skills with others.  Roger was an animal lover and enjoyed the company of many pets throughout his life.  He leaves behind his pets Abby, Ava, and Cutie.

Roger was always a hardworking man and was first employed through the Sanyo Program at the age of 14.  He continued working until the age of 64. He was always willing to give a helping hand to family and friends.

Roger enjoyed watching the Astros, the San Francisco 49ers, the Cowboys, and the San Antonio Spurs. He shared his good sense of humor with those around him, especially with his nieces and nephews.

Roger will be missed by all and will remain in our hearts forever.
