On Sunday, June 21, 2020, Juan M. Uriegas Sr., loving husband and father of five
children, passed away at the age of 87.
Juan was born on June 24, 1932, in San Antonio, Texas. He worked Civil Service
for over 30 years at Kelley Air Force Base as an aircraft mechanic. He married Elia
Tejeda and they were married for over 60 years.
Juan had a passion for fishing, farming, raising livestock, dancing, and enjoyed
living life to its fullest. He was a collector of what most would consider junk, but
in his eyes, his collectibles were treasure. He was known for his sense of humor
and compassionate spirit.
Juan was preceded in death by his wife-Elia, his son-Juan Uriegas Jr., and his
daughter-Linda Cantu. He is survived by his two siblings-brother Martin Uriegas,
and sister Maria Zamora, his three children-Arthur (Darlene), Orie (Alex), and
Leroy (Becky), and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, grandchildren, and great-
grandchildren. Juan is deeply loved and will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be held on Thursday June 25, 2020 from 4:30PM. to 8:30PM. with a rosary to be recited at 7:00PM.
