Ernest M.
Ramirez Sr.
May 3, 1966 — May 13, 2021
San Antonio
Ernest M. Ramirez Sr. was called home to be with the Lord on May 13, 2021 at the age
of 55. Ernest was born in San Antonio, Texas on May 3, 1966 to Mike and Mamie
Ramirez. He resided in Atascosa, Texas where he married the love of his life, San
Juanita (Janie) on April 7, 1984. Over the course of his life, Ernest was a man of many
talents. He was a mentor, the friend you called for advice, a shoulder to cry on, a
confidant, your worst critic, and your best cheerleader. He used old school tough love to
set you back on the straight and narrow. Ernest was honest and taught you to stand
your ground as he did. He was not described as patient, but he never gave up on you.
He was stubborn, an incredibly hard worker and acted with integrity, always. He was
also the bravest man you ever met until his very last day. He never gave up and fought
through the hardship's life threw in his path and always came out stronger and smarter
in the end. His knowledge of this world was vast, and he shared his knowledge with
anyone willing to learn. Ernest is preceded in death by his father Mike T. Ramirez Jr.,
brother; Mike J. Ramirez, sister; Guadalupe Ramirez. He is survived by his wife; San
Juanita Ramirez, mother; Mamie M. Ramirez, daughter; Guadalupe Ramirez (Javier),
sons; Ernest Ramirez Jr. (Maggie), Ruben Ramirez (Candice), brothers; Ruben
Ramirez (Shirley), Danny Ramirez (Debbie), uncle; Harry Mata (MaryJane),his
grandchildren; Ethan, Kyra, Miranda, Juliana, Kaitlyn, JuanDiego, Riley, and Raegan.
Ernest is dearly loved and will be greatly missed by his family, numerous friends,
nieces, and nephews. "Thank you for coming"
