Eloisa Sustaita Trevino passed away on Friday, May 18, 2018. She was born on June 21, 1941 in San Antonio, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ciro and Caritina Sustaita, and her brother, Antonio Sustaita.

Eloisa was a remarkable woman. She was a wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, godmother, sister, and aunt. She graduated from Sidney Lanier High School and worked in the retail business. She owned two businesses which she managed with her husband over several decades. They had a liquor store at South Park Mall and ran a family trucking company. Before her retirement, she worked in the Transportation Department at South San I.S.D. She was very active in her parish and sang in the choir. She also donated her time in assisting Holy Cross High School with their annual fund raisers. She and her husband raised four children but Eloisa also spent much of her life caring for many relatives and extended family members including her parents, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She was an excellent cook and always opened her home to all family members and visitors. She shared her many culinary delights with all her visitors.

She is survived by her husband, Juan Antonio Trevino, and four children, Juan Antonio, Jr. (Agustina), Robert Cesar, Jose Manuel, and Elizabeth Ann. She had 11 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers, Juan and Carmelo Sustaita, and sister, Emma Chapa.

Viewing will be held at San Antonio Mortuary on Tuesday, May 22, 2018. The rosary will be at 7:00 p.m. A mass will be held at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church on Wednesday, May 23, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. followed by burial service at San Jose Cemetery.
