It is with a heavy heart we say goodbye to our, beloved mother and grandmother. Domitila "Tila" Esperanza Rivera was born on July 14, 1953 to her parents Juan Manuel Chapa and Esperanza Chapa Jalomo, she was called home on May 16, 2023 at the age of 69. She is preceded in death by her husband Jose Antonio Rivera, her mother Esperanza Chapa Jalomo, her father Juan Manuel Chapa, her sister Gloria Esperanza Chapa, her brother Sergio Chapa, and her sister Noemi Chapa. She is survived by her Children; daughter Christina Maria Rios (Jesse) her son Jose Angel Gutierrez, her son Juan Jose Rivera (Vanessa), her youngest son Miguel Antonio Rivera, brother Juan Manuel Chapa, jr. (Guadalupe), sister Araceli Rodriguez (Francisco), sister Gloria Flores (Juan), youngest sister Yolanda C. Pena (Jesse), grandson Aubrey T. Howard (Laura), granddaughter Elysia Y. Gutierrez, her grandson Troy A. Rios, granddaughter Ilana T. Gutierrez, granddaughter Cheyenne M. Valadez-Lara, granddaughter Esmee E. Rios, granddaughter Catalina A. Rivera, her six great grandchildren, Aaliyah Howard, Isaiah Howard, Nylah-Svae Keys, Teresa Howard, Cassius Keys, Kaius Keys and numerous nieces and nephews. Domitila was an Underwriter in the Insurance field for many years, after some time she made a career change, but once she retired; Tila enjoyed spending time with her family, taking trips with her children and playing games on her computer. Though we are sad to bid farewell to our beloved mother, grandma, great-grandmother, sister and friend; we take comfort that she is in a much better place. May Our Heavenly Father keep her in his loving embrace. Mom, We love you so much; you will be greatly missed! ~Until we meet again.
