Diane A. Mata Cantu (Lady D) was called home to be with the Lord on Sunday,  August 18, 2019 8:50 p.m. Born July 14, 1956 in Michigan. She was the daughter of Zenon Mata and Mercedes Mata. She survived by three sons, Santana J. Vialon from Phoenix, AZ, Michael A. Mata from San Antonio, TX, Servando Cantu, Jr., from San Antonio, TX, seven grandchildren: Mia Mata, Christian Vialon, Julianna Cantu, Lilianna Cantu, Isaiah Vialon, Manuel Cantu & Lua Mata. Brothers: Richard Mata, Gilbert Mata & Raul Mata. Sisters: Irene Amador & Angie Gutierrez along with nieces and nephews. For 21 years she worked and retired from Brackenridge High School. Diane was a dedicated mother and treasured her time with her children and grandchildren. Her wishes were to be cremated and have a family showing only. We sincerely thank everyone for their prayers and love that was given to our mother while she was here with us
