Crisostomo Salazar was many things above all a son, a father, a husband, a brother, an uncle, a brother in law, a cousin, a grandfather and a great grandfather. He was also a "great friend" to those that knew him. More like an avid converser often seen with a beer in hand after a long day of work. Many conversations were regardijng Sports and WWE. He and his wife Patsy argued over dibs for the remote constantly and that was a sight to see. He knew stats and players, wrestlers and boxers names right off the top of his head. The love of life didn't end with his death. His legacy will continue to be honored by his loved ones living their lives to the fullest. He wouldn't have wanted it any other way.

The majority of Crisostomo's life was spent as a warehouse forklift driver since 1973 at Wilco Peanut Company in Pleasanton, Texas. He had many friends there including the bosses. They were even present at his surgeries. He played baseball for many years of his life and was often hitting home runs with the trophies to prove it. Most players were amazed at how such a slender man could hit the ball over the fence so many times.

Eventually, his life came to an end with his death from Parkinson's Disease on August 10, 2023, at the young age of 71. He courageously battled many illnesses among them were colon cancer, cardiovascular disease, heart attack, strokes, and type 2 didabetes. He constantly was busy washing vehicles and cutting the lawns including his sister in law Maria's lawn. The vehicles had to be shiny and clean and he never forgot to armour all the tires. He loved cutting grass even after a long shift at work. He was a Superman and never seemed to get tired. You can find him outside leaning against one of the vehicles with his flannel shirt along with his boom box playing tejano and oldies music with a 24oz. Can of Lite Beer. The last few days of his life he kept asking for a "cold one," but there were cameras in his room.

Crisostomo also known as "Chico" enjoyed the simplest things in life and loved his sports and his matching t-shirts and jackets. He collected several bottles of cologne and enjoyed smelling and looking great at all times. He would wear his Stacey Adams with Khaki pants when there was a dance or an event to attend. He'd find happiness in a wager or two and often won, but his winnings were quickly turned over to his wife Patsy to help out the kids or buy groceries. He was very generous and often cleared out his wallet, but he didn't care as long as they family had everything they needed. He was a wonderful provider.

Crisostomo is survived by his sister Linda (Tom) Hartford; brother Rosendo Salazar; son Christopher Joe (Stephanie); daughters Norma and Valerie Corona; grandchildren Joseph Hernandez, Sierra and Dominic Salazar, Victoria and Jeremy Carasco, Zachariah and Katryna Lopez; great grandchildren Izaiah, Jeremiah, Avriella and Annalia Lopez and Santiago Salazar, and several nieces and nephews. Crisostomos now joins his mother and father Dominga and Clemente Salazar; his sister Angelita Salazar and his beloved wife Patsy Salazar in heaven and his journey continues. He will never be forgotten and will stay close to our hearts and minds. We love you!
