Conrado H. Madrigal Jr., 82, passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home on March 18, 2024 after a two year battle with cancer.

Conrado served in the US Army and had fond memories of his time being stationed in Korea. He worked for 53 years as a skilled tradesman with a speciality in carpentry. Conrado will be remembered for being a hard-working and a caring provider to his wife and six children. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. In his later years, he enjoyed traveling to Kickapoo with his brother and friends.

He is preceded in death by his wife Dolores M. Madrigal, his daughter Mary D. Diamante, his parents Conrado Sr. and Elvira Madrigal, his sister Tomasa Duran, and his brother Franciso Madrigal.

He is survived by his children Rosa Garcia (Armando), David Madrigal (Angelica), Diane Michelle Montemayor (Delfino), Conrado Madrigal III, Alex Madrigal (Elida), 13 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, his siblings Monseise Madrigal (Jane), Dilva Elizondo (Robert), Marla M. Lares, Mario Madrigal and numerous nieces and nephews.

A special thanks to Compassus Hospice and his nurse Jordan for caring for our father.

We would also like to thank our brother and sister Conrado Madrigal III and Diane Michelle Montemayor for their many years of sacrifice in caring for both of our parents in their time of need.

Visitation will be held at San Antonio Mortuary on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 from 4:00 pm -8:00 pm with a prayer service from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 28, 2024, from 8:00-9:15 San Antonio Mortuary.  Interment will begin at 10:00 am at San Fernando Cemetery III.
