Beatrice Alaquinez
Cisneros
Sep 5, 1954 — Mar 24, 2023
Beatrice Alaquinez Cisneros, 68, passed away peacefully Friday, March 24, 2023, surrounded by her children and husband of 44 years. She was the oldest of three children, born September 5, 1954, in San Antonio, Texas, to Inocencio Alaquinez and Francisca Lugo. Beatrice loved her family and loved baseball. Nothing made her happier than being at a baseball game and watching her husband or her kids play. She often spoke about all the great memories she made at the baseball field and about all the traveling to the games she did with her husband. In conversation, she often found a way to bring up all the travel and all the baseball she had watched over the years. She'd inevitably start singing, "On the road again, I can't wait to get on the road again," and smiling. Beatrice was a fantastic mom and grandma who loved her children. She was proud to see her children starting their own families. She loved the holidays because they brought our family together; she especially loved Christmas time, decorating and making menudo and tamales. Not only was Beatrice a loving mother, but she was also a pillar of the St. Clare Catholic Church community and a member of the Guadalupanas Society. She joined the society on December 12, 2022, joining her mother as a member, which she was incredibly proud of. She was always willing to donate her time and help the church in any way she could. With her extended family, she was a centralized figure for all her cousins, always ready to plan the next family gathering. She is survived by her husband, Manuel; her children; Juan, Jaime, Victor, Jackie, Janelle, and Jonathan; and grandchildren; Kristen, Jaelyn, Adriana, Enrique, Mireya, Aidan, Sofia, Joslyn, Jonael, Victoria, and Roman.
