Adelfa G. Benavides Martinez was called home to be with the Lord on March 31, 2018 at the age of 65. She is preceded in death by her father Ramon Benavides, mother Maria De Jesus Gutierrez, brother Reynaldo Benavides, sister Patricia Benavides and niece Rebecca Herrera. She is survived by her husband Jesus H. Martinez, daughter Sandra Guerra and son in law Copernicus, son Alfred Benavides, sisters Maria Alicia Estrada, Esther Herrera and Enriqueta Benavides, brothers Alfredo (Sylvia) Benavides, Ramon Jr. (Maya) Benavides . grandchildren; Nevin Deleon, Tallyn Guerra, Jaden Guerra numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 from 3:30PM - 8:30PM with a rosary to be recited at 7:00PM. On Wednesday, April 18, 2018 from 8:00AM - 11:45AM. A funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church at 12:15PM with interment to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
